WE WANT TO GIVE YOU THE BEST POSSIBLE EXPERIENCE & ASK THAT YOU TAKE A MOMENT TO READ THROUGH OUR POLICIES SO YOU KNOW WHAT TO EXPECT!
The first time hurts more than any other time. It can be quite shocking to have your hair pulled out right from the root but if you are waxing regularly you are removing less hair each time, making each visit more comfortable. This is only true if you are returning every 4-6 weeks. If you wait past that, it will be virgin hair all over again.
Absolutely! Sometimes your skin may feel tender during pregnancy, but there is no harm to you or your baby.
It’s okay to wax when on your period. Make sure to have a tampon or cup in. Please change your tampon/cup right before your appointment. Also keep in mind that the increase of blood flow may make your skin more sensitive.
Let the hair grow out to about 1/4 inch above the skin, around 3 weeks. If hairs are too short, the wax won’t adhere strongly enough to pull them out.
Do not apply lotion before your wax appointment.
You can take ibuprofen 30 minutes prior to your appointment to decrease sensitivity and inflammatory response.
Come in with comfy loose clothes to maximize comfort.
